Liang & Associates was founded in 1979 by our Managing Partner, Kit Kai Tien Liang, Esq. Prior to setting up his practice in Taiwan, Mr. Liang obtained his graduate law degree and served as counsel in a law firm in Washington, D.C.

In 1979, Mr. Liang foresaw that since Taiwan's export-based economy was not able to utilize its resources efficiently, overseas financial services companies would have to be encouraged to transfer technology and integrate Taiwan into the world financial community. Liang & Associates was created to provided legal services in this new development.

Our vision is to create an international commercial law firm, which specializes in serving the complete legal needs of the financial services industry. Since our establishment, we have become a firm with a strong local practice and a thorough understanding of the global business environment and the needs of international clientele.
