Boat Practices and Races
The CanTai Dragonboat team will
compete in the Taipei City Government-sponsored dragonboat
races for the sixth year running in 2006. Our teams have become
better each year, and this could be our breakthrough year.

- Taiwan Evening of Music
The Canadian Trade Office in Taipei,
Tourism BC, Air Canada and Vancouver Symphony Orchestra are
working together to coordinate "Canada-Taiwan Evening
of Music" featuring Canada's rising young conductor Kenneth
Hsieh, and acclaimed Taiwanese pianist Eric Chen, accompanied
by Evergreen Symphony Orchestra.

- 2006: Canadian Spring Education Fair School Forum
Canadian Society
will be participating at the 2006 Canadian Spring Education
Fair hosted by the Canadian Education Centre Network in Taiwan.
The fair is on March 21 at Sheraton Taipei Hotel, starting
from 5pm. and ends at 9.30pm. Over 20 institutions from Canada
will take part at this fair to meet students and parents who
are interested in studying opportunities in Canada. This is
a great opportunity to introduce Canadian Society to people
with interests in Canada and wish to participate at the future
society events to learn about Canadian culture.
