Their motto is Out of Many, One Sound. The roots of Jahmecca Soundcrew can be traced to Jamaica, where Reggae music and the sound system culture were created. The slogan is a variation of the island's national motto Out Of Many, One People, as Jahmecca was formed by three women who represent diverse talents, backgrounds and musical tastes.

Taiwan's first all-female DJ crew is made up three Canadian ex-pats. There are two DJ's and an MC. ICRT'S own Geena Lee from "The Zone" , aka Geena "Love" Lee brings the reggae , soul, and ol skool jams, while DJ Bless formerly a host and show producer for Ryerson University's Radio station in Toronto, Canada spins Hip Hop, House and R&B, and when she's not broadcasting the morning news on ICRT, front-woman True Daley hypes the crowd by erforming original and cover songs to complete the multi-talented trio.

Most local audiences were introduced to Jahmecca Soundcrew at their opening performance for Grammy-award winning artist Missy Elliott at The World Trade Center in Taipei, and their nparalleled show in Kaoshiung for the Canadian Invasion showcase. DJ Bless has played at Citizen Cain's and Taiwan's Reggae Festival in Shijr as well as at Spring Scream, while Geena Lee showcases her skills every day from Monday to Friday from 4-7 PM on ICRT as the only female on-air personality. Her show "The Zone" has already created a loyal fan-base. True's been cast in this year's 'Vagina Monologues' and has performed at corporate shows for Moet Chandon and Marc Jacobs as well as Shijr's Reggae Festival, and Spring Scream.

Founded in Taiwan , Jahmecca Soundcrew is an extension of Toronto based indie label Jahmecca Recordings .
