Canada D’eh 2007 Activity: Volleyball

Activity Description  
This year, we will have both free playing and tournament with total of 3 courts. There will be prize given to the winning team for tournament players! We will have a tent setup on the beach and a dedicated team to manage the activity.
Activity Organizer

This year, the volleyball activity is organized and run by the Canadian Alumni Network in Taiwan which is a event supporter of Canada D'eh 2007.

 

Activity Info & Requirement

n            Time:

n            both Volleyball free playing and tournament playing be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm

n            Meeting Location

n            Main activity tent: There will be a event Q&A tent at the main event location. There will be alumni volunteers who will be providing you with more information on volleyball playing

n            Beach tent: There will be a tent on the beach where volleyball will take place. There will be the volleyball activity team helping with ball lending, and running of volleyball tournament

n            Requirement:

n            For free playing, please bring a ID card if you would like to borrow the ball

n            For tournament playing, pre-registration is required (please see below for more information)

Activity Format & Sign-Up

n            Free Playing

n            We will have regular playing 3-5 balls for you to borrow. Simply place your ID and we will lend you the ball to play on the free-playing court or any location on the beach.

n            Tournament

n            Depending if there is an actual team sign-up for the tournament, we will allocate the (i.e. 1 or 2 courts) and as well the tournament format (e.g. single elimination) and as well game rule.

n            Pre-sign up is REQUIRED in order to facilitate the planning of the tournament!

n            Click here for rule book. The biggest rule of thumb would be: No blocking of man on woman's spike.

n            All team must be at the beach by 2:30 for official registration
