Featured Benefit Provider: Bongos |
Bongos is hidden in a maze of alleys in the NTU area. However,
you should ignore the address and follow Hsinsheng S. Road,
Lane 76 (and your nose) to the eatery owned by Canadian Andrew
Lunman. The CST has held a couple of popular social nights there.
Bongos poutine is a mixture of French fries, cheese, and gravy
that will make many a Quebecois mouth water – even though
curd cheese is substituted with mozzarella (curds not yet available
in Taiwan).
While munching on this concoction, you might want to pull out
a made-in-Taiwan crokinole board (a game reportedly invented
in Perth, Ontario) to extend your nearly authentic Canadian
experience.
